We’re recruiting an exceptional leader to join Devon County Council as Deputy Director Children’s Services (Director of Children’s Social Care)
This is a pivotal role at an exciting point in our journey. Building on significant progress, we’re focused on delivering the next phase of improvement, embedding national reform and achieving the best possible outcomes for children, young people and families across Devon.

Reporting to the Director of Children’s Services, you’ll lead Children’s Social Care across a large and diverse county, working with a talented leadership team, strong partners and committed elected members. You’ll play a key role in shaping services, driving improvement and ensuring children remain at the heart of everything we do.
